A.) I think that all of the photos in the slideshow, this is the most powerful one. It shows, to me, that he has worked extremely hard. It shows that he was determined to get to where he wanted to go, and it shows that all of his hard work has finally paid off. Thats why i think this is the most powerful picture.

The most powerful set of images are the last ones, Back in Denver, because they show a lot of emotion, hard work that is finally complete, and a relief to be back home and happy.
C.) The images show his journey through, and steps, he takes to make it as a soldier. It shows almost everything that happened, and captured a lot of the experiences.

B.) They make it feel like your right there, and helps you understand what its like to be there with him.

[Image #3] John gets out of his car alone in New York at an Armed Forces Career Center, because he had just gotten a call approving of him as an army recruit.
[Image #4] John and his girlfriend Katy kiss on the ferris wheel at a carnival in New York, celebrating his recent admission as an army recruit.

A.) It can tell more of a story, make more of an impact, use music to change your emotions or opinions on things, allow you to get a better understanding on the pictures.
